Akash Palkhiwala
Akash Palkhiwala serves as the CFO and Executive Vice President of Qualcomm, a multinational Fortune 500 technology company headquartered in California. In this role, he leads the global financial organization, IT and investor relations. Mr. Palkhiwala joined Qualcomm in 2001, and during this time has held several finance leadership roles including treasurer, financial planning and analysis and corporate development. He holds a BE in Mechanical Engineering from L. D. College of Engineering, Ahmedabad and an MBA from the University of Maryland.
Arihant Patni
Arihant Patni serves as the Managing Director of Patni Financial Advisors, a wealth management company, and of Ideaspring Capital, an early-stage, technology-focused venture capital fund. He also serves as Co-Founder and Managing Director of Hive Technologies, a Silicon Valley ‘big data’ incubator with offices in Palo Alto, Mumbai and Bangalore and the Co-Founder and Director of Nirvana Venture Advisors, a fund focused on investing in the Internet space. Mr. Patni is an entrepreneur, financial advisor and venture capitalist. As an active angel investor, he enjoys working closely with his portfolio companies. Mr. Patni holds BSc in Chemical Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania, an MA in Statistics from Columbia University, New York and an MBA with a specialization in Entrepreneurship from Babson College, Boston.
Nitin Jain
Nitin Jain serves as the CEO and Managing Director of Edelweiss Wealth Management, one of India’s fastest growing wealth management firms. In this role, Mr. Jain is responsible for heading leadership businesses across wealth management, investment management, investment banking and capital markets. In 2010, he seeded the wealth management business, which today stands as one of the largest in the country. Mr. Jain holds a BTech from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur and a PGDBM in Finance from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta.
Apurva Damani
Apurva Damani is an Associate at Ankur Capital, an early stage, technology-focused venture capital fund. Previously, she served as Director of Artha India Ventures, an early stage, sector agnostic venture capital fund and was also the Head of Training and Expansion at Talerang, an India-based talent training organization to make graduates ‘work-ready’. Ms. Damani holds a BA in International Politics and Economics from Middlebury College.
